Over the past two days, the working group of the Traffic Police Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Police coordinated with the Party Committee, the government, the Dak Plo Commune Police and the Lo Xo Pass SOS Team to bring necessities: sticky rice, dry food, bread, canned milk, drinking water... to promptly support drivers, bus assistants and local people isolated in the middle of Lo Xo Pass due to landslides in recent days.

To get to the isolated vehicles, the working group had to walk through dangerous landslides and hand over to people waiting for the route to be cleared.

Using aircraft to transport food and water supplies to some drivers stuck in landslides.

This afternoon, October 28, the SOS Lo Xo Pass rescue team and the Traffic Police had to use aircraft to transport food and drinking water to a number of drivers stuck in an inaccessible landslide section in Da Nang city.

The meaningful actions of the Traffic Police, local authorities and the SOS Lo Xo Pass rescue team have promptly helped dozens of people in difficulty on remote mountain passes during days of being stuck in floodwaters.
