Heavy rain forecast to gradually decrease from October 30, flood warning on rivers

QNgTV- According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from October 25 until now, the Central region has experienced an exceptionally heavy rain, causing widespread flooding, landslides in many places and seriously affecting people's lives.

According to forecasts, heavy rain will gradually decrease after October 30. However, the flood situation on rivers remains high. In Quang Ngai , in the past 12 hours (from 18:00/28/10/2025 to 06:00/29/10/2025), there has been moderate rain, heavy rain, and very heavy rain in some places.

In the next 6 hours, areas in the province will continue to have moderate to heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain with accumulated rainfall from 40 - 60 mm, some places over 80 mm.

Due to heavy rain, water levels on most rivers in Quang Ngai province are rising rapidly and are above alert level (BĐ)1-BĐ2, posing a risk of flooding in low-lying areas, riverside areas and urban areas in the province.

In addition, due to many days of rain on weak ground, the mountainous area in the west of Quang Ngai province is at very high risk of flash floods and landslides, warned at level 3 natural disaster risk, the highest level on the warning scale.
