Many roads continue to be eroded

QNgTV- Today, October 28, traffic routes in Quang Ngai province were basically temporarily cleared. However, due to the continued heavy rain, many sections continued to experience landslides.

On the morning of October 28, National Highway 24C ( Quang Ngai to Da Nang) was basically temporarily opened to traffic, but this afternoon, a number of new landslides appeared on this route. Right at the junction with Tra My commune, Da Nang city, a large amount of soil and rock from the slope fell onto the road surface.

Also on Highway 24C, at km 74, the positive slope retaining wall has cracked, with a high risk of landslides. Traffic police and Quang Ngai Provincial Police have stretched ropes and placed warning signs in the dangerous landslide area.

This afternoon, on Highway 83, the section from Provincial Road 623 through Son Tay commune into Son Tay Ha commune, there were two landslides, at km 0+500m and km 2+300m. Traffic police teams were assigned to set up checkpoints, preventing people and vehicles from passing through the landslide area.
