The leaders of Hue City Police have directed the concentration of 100% of forces and means, proactively deploying plans to ensure the safety of people's lives, health and property, absolutely not letting people go hungry or cold. In key areas, units under Hue City Police strictly maintain the duty regime, mobilize 100% of the staff, ready to respond in all situations. The grassroots police force strengthens its grasp of the area, checks key points and deep flooded areas, promptly propagates and mobilizes people to comply with safety recommendations, absolutely not moving through dangerous areas.
Heavy rains caused floods on the Ta Trach River to rise, collapsing Le No Bridge in Khe Tre Commune (Hue City), a vital bridge connecting the commune center with residential areas, isolating thousands of households.
Faced with the complicated situation of heavy rain, Hue city has planned to evacuate more than 10,000 households with over 32,000 people, mainly in coastal areas, lagoons, low-lying areas, and landslide risk areas such as: Phong Dien, Phong Thai, Phong Dinh, Khe Tre, A Luoi 3, A Luoi 4, A Luoi 5 Commune...
Currently, localities are continuing to evacuate households at risk of landslides and prolonged flooding. Severe flooding has flooded 32 out of 40 communes and wards in Hue city. Many roads have been damaged by landslides and deep flooding, causing isolation.
