VNPT General Director: Need to promote the value and effectiveness of talents in practical development

Hosted by VNPT Group, the Digital Technology category of the Vietnam Talent Awards 2025 with the theme: "AI and Big Data - Breakthrough Technology" recorded 168 entries, of which the majority were aged 16-30, including many high school students, university students and Vietnamese technology startups.

At the award ceremony, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man welcomed the Organizing Committee's choice of the theme "AI and Big Data - Breakthrough Technology", aiming to promote solutions applying core technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, internet of things, quantum computing, contributing directly to the construction of digital economy, digital society, ensuring data safety, network security, enhancing national governance capacity and improving service quality for people and businesses.

The Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress has oriented the country's development in the 2021 - 2030 period and requires education and training, science and technology to "Create breakthroughs in fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training, develop high-quality human resources, attract and utilize talents. Promote research and transfer to strongly apply achievements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in all areas of social life".

The National Assembly Chairman emphasized that this is the task that the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, ministries, departments, branches and the Organizing Committee of the "Vietnam Talents" Award need to continue to promote to attract more scientists, many people passionate about science and technology innovation, bringing new knowledge, mastering technology and creating technology. The individuals and groups receiving the award today continue to research to complete their work, have many new ideas to have more products to participate in the award in the following years...

Over the past two decades, under the leadership of the Party and Government and the coordination and facilitation of the Central Committees and Ministries, VNPT has been honored and proud to accompany the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, press agencies, scientists and the business community to search for, honor and support Vietnamese talents - people who are contributing, creating and contributing to the glory of Vietnamese intelligence every day.

This year's award ceremony takes place in a very special context when the country is entering a new stage of development, with the aspiration to rise in the digital age through science and technology, innovation and digital transformation. In the global trend of putting knowledge, innovation and high-quality human resources as the main driving force, Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo has affirmed the strategic vision and determination of the Party and State in developing and promoting talents, considering people - talents - as the center and driving force of the country's development.

This is a major policy with a long-term vision, clearly demonstrating the determination of the Party and State in building Vietnam into a developed country based on knowledge, innovation and high-quality resources.

High-quality human resources – people who know how to master knowledge, exploit technology and create new values – are the decisive factor in the competitiveness and sustainable development of the business.

If over the past twenty years, the Vietnam Talent Awards have made Vietnamese intelligence famous, then in the coming period, the focus should be on promoting the value and effectiveness of talent in practical development.

Therefore, in the new phase, VNPT not only continues to accompany the Vietnam Talent Awards but also proactively participates in the national talent development ecosystem - where ideas are nurtured, research is tested, and innovative products are applied in practice with many resource and intellectual models.
