According to the Organizing Committee, in the context of the entire Party and people implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW on the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, this year's 18th Vietnam Talent Award continues to strongly innovate in content and organization, aiming to discover and honor talents associated with three pillars: science - technology - innovation.
The award categories have been restructured to align with national development orientations, including: Digital Technology, Medicine and Pharmacy, Youth Innovation, Promoting Education - Self-Learning and Success, and Contribution. Digital Technology continues to be the heart of the Award, reflecting Vietnam's aspirations in building a safe and sustainable digital nation, society, and economy.
The 2025 Vietnam Talent Awards presented awards in the following categories: Digital Technology (3 second prizes, 5 third prizes, and 1 consolation prize); Medicine and Pharmacy (4 awards); Youth Innovation (1 award); Contribution Award (2 awards); and Scholarship and Self-Study Award (5 awards).
Speaking at the award ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man shared that over the past 20 years, the "Vietnamese Talents" award ceremonies have connected into a series of events focusing on creative research and the application of research results to life. The most common characteristic among all award recipients is their consistent learning, diligent work, genuine learning, genuine talent, the integration of theory and practice, scientific research, and the creation of new knowledge within the production process, with serving the people as their primary purpose.
Many applied or promising projects have reached markets in several countries such as Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, India, the UK, Italy, and even countries with very high technological requirements like Japan and the United States. Many highly applicable and well-organized products have been awarded prizes and ranked among the top 5 high-tech enterprises in the Asia-Pacific region or the top 100 outstanding industrial enterprises globally.
Regarding the 2025 Awards, the Chairman of the National Assembly commended the Organizing Committee for choosing the theme "AI and Big Data - Breakthrough Technologies," aiming to promote solutions applying core technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, and quantum computing, directly contributing to building a digital economy and digital society, ensuring data security and cybersecurity, enhancing national governance capacity, and improving the quality of services for citizens and businesses.
Digital technology - The heart of Vietnam's talent.
Organized by the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), this year's Digital Technology category is themed: "AI and Big Data - Technologies Creating Breakthroughs," aiming to promote the application of core technologies such as AI, Big Data, Blockchain, Cloud, IoT, quantum computing, etc., into practical management, production, and daily life. The award encourages products with high applicability that serve the digital government, digital economy, and digital society, ensuring data security and cybersecurity, and contributing to improved governance capacity and service quality for citizens and businesses.
The digital technology sector attracts many products from young creators aged 16-30.In 2025, 168 entries were submitted in the Digital Technology category – a number that reflects the strong appeal and increasing prestige of the Vietnam Talent Award. After the preliminary round, 17 outstanding products were selected by the Judging Panel to advance to the final round, where they presented their projects in a dramatic, intellectual, and creative live defense before the Final Judging Panel on October 25, 2025, to determine the most deserving recipients of the 2025 Vietnam Talent Award.
This year, the Digital Technology sector is particularly vibrant, attracting many products from young creators aged 16-30, including many high school students, university students, and Vietnamese tech startups. The participation of young people shows that the Award has become a source of inspiration and a launching pad for a new generation of innovators, while also reflecting the strong spirit of innovative entrepreneurship spreading within the Vietnamese technology community.

Scholarship Award - Self-Learning Success: Honoring talented individuals who, through self-study and research, have overcome difficulties to create products and projects that directly benefit the local community and surrounding areas.
