Accordingly, the intra-provincial bus routes, with a total of 24 routes. Of which, 8 routes are in operation, including: route 2 Son Dong ward - An Thuy commune; route 4 Son Dong ward - Thanh Phong commune; route 5 Son Dong ward - Thanh Phuoc commune; route 8 Son Dong ward - Dinh Khao ferry (Vinh Long); route 19 Dai An commune - Tra Vinh ward; route 20 Long Chau ward - Quoi An commune; route 21 Long Chau ward - Tra On commune (end point Tich Thien bus station); route 22 Long Chau ward - Trung Thanh commune; route 23 Long Chau ward - Tra On commune (end point Tra On bus station). The remaining 16 routes have not been exploited; of which, there are 6 new routes approved in the planning.

There are a total of 7 inter-provincial bus routes in the province. Of these, 4 routes have been exploited, including: route 26 Vinh Long - Can Tho ; route 27 Vung Liem - Can Tho; route 28 Vinh Long - Sa Dec; route 29 Dong Thap - Vinh Long - Can Tho. The remaining 3 routes have not been exploited, including: route 24 Vinh Long - Cai Be (Dong Thap); route 25 Tra Vinh - My Tho (Dong Thap); route 30 Can Tho - Tan Luoc.

The announcement of the intra-provincial and inter-provincial bus network aims to concretize the planning for the development of the public passenger transport system, serving the travel needs of the people, contributing to inter-regional traffic connection, reducing pressure on personal vehicles and promoting local socio- economic development.
