
In Hoa Xuan ward, prolonged heavy rains caused many areas to be deeply flooded, affecting people's lives. Tay An residential group has 182 households with 674 people who were flooded from 30-50cm; Dong Hoa area recorded 156 households being flooded. Meanwhile, Qua Giang 1 residential group has about 30 households and Giang Nam 1 has about 20 households at risk of flooding.
Faced with the above situation, the authorities urgently deployed the work of evacuating and supporting the people. In the Tay An area alone, 63 households (375 people) were supported to move to safe adjacent houses; 10 households (20 people) were evacuated from the deep flooded area; 109 households (299 people) are staying in place, being helped by the militia and shock troops to clean up and protect their property.
According to Mr. Dang Quang Vinh, Chairman of Hoa Xuan Ward People's Committee, 105 officers, soldiers and militiamen participated in the rescue force. The locality mobilized 4 cars, 2 canoes and 2 boats, standing by to support the movement of people and property to safety.
According to the People's Committee of Hoa Tien commune, heavy rain caused 2,581 houses in 19/22 villages in the area to be flooded from 0.5m to 1.8m (except for 3 villages: Duong Son, Yen Ne 1, village 5). Road DH 409, inter-village roads, alleys, lanes of An Trach village; village roads of groups 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 Le Son Nam, roads of Thach Bo village, ADB5 road... were flooded from 0.5m to 1.8m.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Khoa, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Tien Commune, said that in the face of heavy rain causing flooding in some areas, the commune has mobilized police, military and militia forces to regularly patrol and check roads and residential areas at risk of flooding to block and warn people. The authorities organized the evacuation of the elderly, children and sick people to safe places; supported people to raise their belongings, transport rice and belongings out of deep flooded areas.
The People's Committee of the commune also directed schools to temporarily suspend classes to ensure absolute safety for students.

In Ba Na commune, prolonged heavy rains caused localized flooding in many areas of Ba Na commune, affecting people's lives. According to statistics, in group 2, Phu Hoa 1 village, 53 households (179 people) had 21 houses flooded; Thai Lai village had 4 households (14 people), Phuoc Thai village had 12 households (45 people), Phuoc Hung village had 3 households (8 people) and group 4, Thach Nham Dong village were all partially flooded. Rising river water also caused Thang Long road section through Tuy Loan bridge (Phu Hoa 2 village) to be flooded.
Vice Chairman of Ba Na Commune People's Committee Le Duc Tri said that the locality has proactively deployed flood response plans, prepared forces and means to support the evacuation of people at key locations such as Mot village, Dong Son, Phuoc Thai, Thai Lai, Phu Hoa 1, Phu Hoa 2... At the same time, organized blockades, traffic diversion, mobile propaganda, reinforced landslide sites and fully prepared necessities, medicine, rescue vehicles, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.
In Hai Van ward, many areas in Hai Van ward were partially flooded in Nam Yen, Loc My, Pho Nam and Truong Dinh groups. The Commune Civil Defense Command deployed forces to block off the locations. The ward government mobilized 2 excavators and shock troops to overcome landslides and clear fallen trees. 24 households with 80 people had to evacuate to avoid the flood.
Mr. Nguyen Thuc Dung, Chairman of Hai Van Ward People's Committee, requested the relevant agencies to promptly inspect and assess the level of landslides on the negative slope at km 51 of DT601 road (Ta Lang group), which is at risk of directly affecting the La Son - Tuy Loan expressway. At the same time, he requested to promptly deploy remedial and reinforcement measures to ensure traffic safety and stabilize the lives of people in the surrounding area.
In Hoa Vang commune, according to Mr. Dang Xuan Thanh, Deputy Head of the Economic Department of Hoa Vang commune, many areas of the commune were flooded from 0.5 to 2 meters deep, especially on inter-village roads, alleys, and lanes in the villages of Bo Ban, Thach Bo, Cam Toai Trung, Cam Toai Dong and Tuy Loan Dong 1, Dong 2...
The Commune Civil Defense Command proactively evacuated 13 people from Thach Bo and Bo Ban villages to safety. Local authorities continued to monitor and mobilize forces to support people in flooded areas, ensuring safety of life and property.
