In the recent 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Ham Yen Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities ( Tuyen Quang ) became a bright spot with impressive results, the average score in Geography was 9.18 and especially 8 absolute 10 points. This achievement comes from the dedication and enthusiasm of a teacher in the highlands, teacher Dam Thi Hanh.

Ms. Hanh, born in 1982, is a Geography teacher and currently holds the position of Council Secretary at the school. During her four years at this boarding school (2021-2025), she has made constant efforts, reaped a series of outstanding titles and achievements, and become a shining example of the spirit of "sowing letters" in the mountainous region.

Ms. Dam Thi Hanh is always attentive and close to her students whether in class or after school.

Looking at Ms. Dam Thi Hanh's 2020-2025 achievement table, the improvement in professional quality is clearly evident through each school year.

Ms. Hanh has been awarded the title of Emulation Fighter for 3 consecutive years (2023, 2024, 2025) and the title of Advanced Worker twice (2021, 2022). Notably, she was classified as an excellent civil servant for the 2 school years 2022-2023 and 2023-2024.

The achievements of excellent students (HSG) and Science and Technology (KHKT) have continuously increased and reached the provincial level. In the 2022-2023 school year, she began to have students win third prizes in the provincial level. In the 2024-2025 school year, she trained excellent students at the provincial level with 2 third prizes and 2 encouragement prizes; guided students in the provincial level Science and Technology competition to win 1 second prize and 1 third prize.

Regarding the High School Graduation Exam, after exceeding the target in 2020-2021, the quality of the Geography subject that she was in charge of continued to make a breakthrough. The average score in 2024 was 8.68 (ranked 3rd out of 41 units). In 2025, the average score was 9.18 with 8 absolute 10 points. This result is the clearest proof of her teaching effectiveness.

Outside of class hours, teacher Dam Thi Hanh also enthusiastically teaches students at the school's dormitory.

The Board of Directors of Ham Yen Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities said that Ms. Dam Thi Hanh is a teacher with good expertise, always trying hard, enthusiastic and responsible. She is not only a good teacher but also a good homeroom teacher of the school.

She was also commended by the local government for her outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement in Ham Yen commune in the period 2020 - 2025.
