Organization of the 2026 Economic Census

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 14699/BTC-CTK of the Ministry of Finance on the organization of the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census (2026 Economic Census), the Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province has assigned the Provincial Statistics Office to preside over and coordinate with relevant units and localities to implement the 2026 Economic Census Plan until the provincial and commune-level Steering Committees are established in accordance with the plan implemented by the Provincial Statistics Office to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

Implementing the 2026 Census Plan, the Provincial Statistics Office has issued Plan 246/TKT-DVG on organizing and directing the implementation of the list of individual production and business establishments for the 2026 Census. According to the plan, the work of collecting information on the list of individual production and business establishments will be carried out from October 1 to 25, 2025.

To ensure that the work of collecting information to compile the list of individual production and business households is completed within the prescribed time, the Provincial Statistics Office requests the People's Committees of communes and wards to coordinate with the Statistics Offices to manage the communes and wards to focus on directing investigators to speed up the progress of the work of compiling the list of individual production and business households to ensure time and quality according to the province's direction plan.
