Confident that she had the upper hand on her opponent, Tu Trang (Thanh Hien) happily brought a witness to "expose" Nam Tra. Unexpectedly, she herself fell into the trap and suffered a painful defeat in front of her whole family when Nam Tra (Quynh Lam) used a "bitter plan" to counterattack at the last minute.

Still "convinced" that Nam Tra (Quynh Lam) is a scammer, Tu Trang (Thanh Hien) completely rejects the "life-saving" story that Mrs. Phan told. She believes that it was just a play staged by Nep to "rise to the clouds in one step".

Not willing to let her "foster sister" continue to act recklessly, Ms. Tu ordered her husband to immediately conduct a secret investigation. Unfortunately, Van Tai and Nam Tra "knew" their intentions and decided to "counter-attack" them. And, Mr. Mot, Nep's old accomplice, was used by Van Tai as "bait" to lure Tu Trang and her husband into the trap.

As expected, Tu Trang immediately “took the bait”. Mr. Mot clearly told Nep’s past as a person who specialized in setting traps to cheat rich young masters out of their money. But the “twist” was that he said Nep had “retired” because a generous man accepted to take care of him. Tu Trang “wanted to be shocked” when she found out that the person was Van Tai. Believing that she had evidence of “insider” and “adulterer”, Tu Trang immediately brought the witness home to “expose” both of them.

The climax exploded when Tu Trang "exposed" Nam Tra's dark background in front of the whole family. She loudly declared that Van Tai was an insider, bringing his mistress into the Phan family with the intention of committing an evil plot.

But Tu Trang was wrong. Van Tai and Nam Tra both anticipated everything. When cornered, Nam Tra, instead of panicking, calmly performed an excellent "bitter plan". With her tearful but threatening eyes, Tra made her former accomplice afraid, proactively changing her testimony, causing Tu Trang to suddenly lose power and become... "speechless". Tu's good play suddenly turned into a farce, making Mrs. Phan trust her pitiful adopted daughter even more.
