Halloween is approaching, people are eagerly awaiting the unique costume holiday

In the last days of October, the Halloween festival atmosphere begins to appear in many supermarkets, shopping centers, accessory stores, bookstores... in Dong Nai. This is one of the typical festivals with Western culture that was introduced to Vietnam more than 20 years ago, loved by many young people and carefully prepared.

Although not as bustling as some previous years, the decorative scene, accessory stalls and a series of "spooky" themed products still give people a feeling of excitement waiting for this unique holiday.

In supermarkets and large shopping malls, the Halloween display area easily attracts the attention of customers, especially children. Bright orange pumpkins, witch figures, or hanging ghost models create an interesting space. Compared to previous seasons, this year's decoration is simpler but still retains the characteristics of Western masquerade.

An interesting highlight that attracts many customers is the area selling fresh pumpkins. Pumpkins with all sizes and unique shapes can be used to decorate in the spirit of Halloween, and can also be used to prepare dishes after the festival, which helps buyers easily choose according to their needs and not worry about waste.

Decorative accessory stores, bookstores, etc. also grasp the trend of the festive season, costume accessories such as masks, witch robes, horned hats, pumpkin headbands or glowing toys are sold at quite diverse prices, suitable for many customer groups.

Mr. Mai Duc Khuong, an employee of Minh Phat Bookstore (Tam Hiep Ward), said: "The Halloween atmosphere this year is not too exciting but still has a certain attraction, especially for children. Parents often buy simple costumes for their children to enjoy the holiday season."

Along with shopping on-site, many people choose to hunt for Halloween items through e-commerce platforms. With just a few steps, customers can find hundreds of accessories of all styles and prices.

Mr. Tran Huu Viet (Tan Trieu Ward) shared: "In recent years, I often buy Halloween costumes online because the designs are very diverse and there are many cute options for children. However, to avoid late delivery, this year I have to order earlier."

In addition to costumes, many bakeries and cafes also respond to the Halloween atmosphere with fun shaped cakes: pumpkin cakes, spider cupcakes, skull-shaped cookies... contributing to bringing an interesting experience to customers.

Halloween is not a traditional holiday of Vietnamese people, but in recent years it has become a favorite activity in Dong Nai , especially among young people and children.

Taking place on October 31st every year, Halloween is an opportunity for people to unleash their creativity with unique costumes, have fun together, and discover interesting things related to the mysterious and ghostly theme. Not only is this holiday entertaining, it also brings interesting cultural experiences.
