People in need are helped by the army and militia.

In An Luc Long commune, Tay Ninh province, a fierce tornado swept through the hamlets of Cau Ong Bui, Cau Duc, An Tap, and Hoi Xuan, damaging 14 houses and destroying large areas of crops. Upon receiving the report, the commune's Military Command mobilized forces and formed four task forces to go to the scene and work with the people to mitigate the damage. With a spirit of "proactively reaching out to the people," the soldiers braved the rain and wind, enduring hardships to help the people rebuild their homes and quickly restore normal life.

Officers and soldiers of Team K73 built a house for the family of Mr. Nguyen Trung Tinh.

Nguyen Hoang Loc, Commander of the An Luc Long Commune Military Command, said: “Immediately after organizing according to the two-tiered local government model, we established a rapid response team to promptly respond to natural disasters and fires. Thanks to this, the mobilization of forces and resources has been quick and effective. The militia members are all wholeheartedly dedicated to the people, considering the people's difficulties as their responsibility.”

Among the households severely affected was that of Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thuy, residing in Cau Duc hamlet. The sudden tornado completely ripped off the roof of her house, damaging many belongings. Militia soldiers helped Ms. Thuy temporarily repair the roof, move her belongings, and repair her house. Ms. Thuy said: “The tornado came so quickly, my roof was ripped off in just a moment. Luckily, the militia came to help. They worked diligently and thoughtfully! I am truly grateful!”

In Duong Minh Chau and Tan Thanh communes, the tornado also caused damage to many households, with roofs blown off and houses collapsing, resulting in losses exceeding 250 million VND. Immediately afterwards, the commune's militia forces arrived promptly to help people move their belongings, clear debris, and temporarily mitigate the consequences. In the face of difficulties, the sense of responsibility and dedication to the people shown by these soldiers shone even brighter.

The family of Mr. Nguyen Trung Tinh (residing in Moc Hoa commune) now has a new, sturdy house, built with the sweat and effort of the officers and soldiers of Team K73 (Provincial Military Command). Mr. Tinh's family had no land for farming and worked as laborers to support their two young children. Understanding their situation, the officers and soldiers of Team K73 voluntarily came to help him build the house. Mr. Tinh emotionally said: “The soldiers worked quickly and thoughtfully. My family is incredibly happy; I will never forget their kindness.”

In times of hardship, the people always have the army and militia by their side. Every action and deed they perform reflects a spirit of responsibility, love, and the strong bond between the military and the people.
