The Perfume River in Hue dropped nearly 1 meter last night and continues to fall.

On the morning of October 30, Hue City's Hydrometeorological Station announced that the water level of the Huong River had dropped by 0.8m last night.

Specifically, at 7:00 a.m. on October 30, the water level of the Huong River at Kim Long station was 3.72 m, 0.22 m higher than alarm level 3 (BĐ3), down 0.85 m compared to 0:00 a.m. on October 30. The water level of the Bo River at Phu Oc station was 4.45 m, 0.05 m below BĐ3, down 0.53 m compared to 0:00 a.m. on October 30.

It is forecasted that in the next 12-24 hours, the flood waters of the rivers will continue to recede slowly. The Huong and Bo rivers will drop to levels above BĐ2-BĐ3. The city government recommends that people and units be ready to clean up as soon as the water recedes, to avoid letting mud dry and become hard to wash away. At the same time, urgently clean up the environment to avoid spreading diseases. In flooded areas, people need to use fresh water sparingly and effectively.

The city government also warned that the flood situation in the city is still complicated, there have been some cases of being swept away and missing.
