On the morning of October 29, in the face of rising floodwaters, which threatened to inundate Mr. Hua Van Kiet's orchard, with an area of ​​about 3,000 square meters in Vinh Hiep Hamlet, Vinh Gia Commune (An Giang Province), Vinh Gia Border Guard Station (An Giang Province) mobilized 15 officers and soldiers to the scene to assist people in building dikes and reinforcing embankments to protect property and crops.

After receiving the information, the Border Guard force urgently brought tools, sandbags, soil and available materials to coordinate with Mr. Kiet's family to build dikes and reinforce weak embankment sections.

Soldiers urgently used sandbags to reinforce the embankment and build a dike to prevent flooding for Mr. Kiet's garden.

Thanks to the timely support, the entire garden area of ​​Mr. Hua Van Kiet's family was safely protected. Mr. Kiet emotionally said: "Seeing the water rising quickly, I was very worried, luckily the border guards came to help in time. I am truly grateful to them for not minding the hardships of helping people in this difficult time."

According to the commander of Vinh Gia Border Guard Station, in the face of complicated developments of flood water levels, the unit always maintains forces on standby to respond and help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters, protecting people's lives and property.
