Using ropes to deliver food to 107 people in isolated remote villages

On October 29, the Hong Van Border Guard Station (Hue City Border Guard) used ropes to supply food to 26 households with 107 people in Ta Lo A Ho village (A Luoi 1 commune, Hue City) that were isolated for a long time due to floods.

Accordingly, officers and soldiers of the Hong Van Border Guard Station used large tree roots to install a rope and pulley system and then transported relief goods including 200kg of rice, 10 boxes of instant noodles, and 3 boxes of milk to the people of Ta Lo A Ho village who were waiting on the other side of the rapidly flowing floodwater stream.

At around 3:15 pm on October 29, Vy Da Ward Police, Hue City received information that a Laotian student had fallen and broken his knee. Immediately, Vy Da Ward Police came to assist in taking the Laotian student to the Orthopedic Trauma Hospital for emergency treatment.

On the same day, the Thuan Hoa Ward Police, Hue City continued to coordinate with relief teams to visit and encourage people in flooded areas in this ward. At the same time, they distributed more than 1,000 bottles of mineral water, more than 350 boxes of instant noodles and many other types of food to the people.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao, living in alley 137 Phan Dinh Phung, Thuan Hoa ward, emotionally shared: "When we were in the most difficult time, the police officers brought instant noodles and drinking water to supply us. These gifts not only helped my family have food in the short term, but also encouraged us to try harder after the flood."
