Floods cause deep inundation of roads

As of 3:00 p.m. on October 29, the flood level on the Huong River at Kim Long station: 4.57 m, above BĐ3: 1.07 m (the flood peak at 8:00 p.m. on October 27 reached 5.05 m, the second highest, 0.76 m lower than in 1999); the Bo River at Phu Oc station: 4.97 m, above BĐ3: 0.47 m. In addition, the O Lau River at Phong Binh station: 2.53 m; the Truoi River at Truoi station: 3.80 m; the Ta Trach River at Thuong Nhat station: 60.59 m, below BĐ2: 0.41 m.

According to forecasts, in the next 12 hours, the flood on the rivers will continue to rise, possibly peaking at a level 0.1-0.2m lower than yesterday's flood peak, then slowly receding. In the next 12-24 hours, the flood on the rivers will slowly recede and fluctuate at level BĐ3 to above BĐ3. Warning level of natural disaster risk due to level 3 floods.

The impact of the flood has caused widespread, serious and prolonged flooding in the downstream of rivers, low-lying areas, urban areas, and landslides on steep slopes in mountainous areas.
