According to Mr. Nghia, by late afternoon on October 28, the main road to the center of Tra Leng commune (old) was cleared after forces leveled more than 70 large and small landslides, helping to completely break the isolation.
"The national power grid has been restored, ensuring daily life for the people. All people in the commune are safe. There was no landslide that caused the collapse of a village as previously reported on social networks," said Mr. Nghia.

However, due to the continued rain, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Tra Leng commune activated a response plan, prioritizing the evacuation of people from areas at risk of landslides and proactively handling arising situations.
Accordingly, on October 29, the local government established two working groups directly commanded by commune leaders, with members continuing to Tra Leng (old) and Ong Sup village (village 2) to reach the isolated villages. At the same time, they provided food supplies, assisted in evacuation and overcame the consequences of natural disasters.
