
On the afternoon of October 29, the city's working delegation led by comrade Bui Van Thang, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, worked with Kien An ward.
At the meeting, the leaders of Kien An ward informed that the socio -economic activities of the ward in the first 10 months of 2025 were stable. The basic sectors and fields maintained a good growth rate. Site clearance work was focused on, ensuring the progress of project implementation, especially the completion of site clearance for the Ring Road 2 project through the ward.
The ward proposed that the city choose Kien An as the locality to pilot the model of "Green urban ward - comprehensive digital transformation". There are support policies, prioritized capital sources, appropriate decentralization and authorization mechanisms so that the ward can be proactive in planning, infrastructure investment, and urban management.
Early allocation of public investment capital for the period 2026 - 2030 for key projects in the area, such as: Project to renovate the central area of Kien An ward; Project to develop cultural park, festival, astronomy and creative arts on Thien Van hill; Project to build urban areas along Lach Tray river; Project of resettlement areas to serve the implementation of key projects of the ward; Project to prevent landslides on Thien Van mountain phase 2...
Propose that the Department of Agriculture and Environment support the ward in planning the system of regulating lakes, trees, urban landscapes, ensuring the criteria of a green and sustainable urban ward. Support the implementation of the plan "Trees for the community - One tree per house, 10 trees per business" with the target of 5,000 trees.
Support the ward in converting ineffective agricultural and forestry land into ecological economic models, farmstays, and experiential gardens, focusing on effectively exploiting the eco-tourism potential of Thien Van hill.

Guidance on adjusting agricultural land use planning towards forming concentrated, large-scale production areas. Carrying out land accumulation and concentration to facilitate the conversion of crop and livestock structures in accordance with market demand and local conditions.
Speaking at the meeting, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Bui Van Thang highly appreciated the socio-economic development results of Kien An ward in recent times, especially the overcoming of difficulties and stable operation of the two-level local government system.
He agreed with the projects to renovate and exploit Thien Van hill to become a cultural and tourist destination of the city as well as landslide prevention projects in the ward.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment commits to accompany and support the ward in developing a master plan and converting land use purposes to develop ecotourism in the coming time.
Regarding the ward's recommendations related to problems and difficulties in the work of granting land use right certificates for the first time, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will send staff to directly accompany and support the locality.
