Observations throughout the day, especially around noon on October 29th, showed very heavy rain in the center of A Vuong commune, causing the water level to rise rapidly.

After completing the relocation of 19 households with 64 people to the multi-purpose building, the commune's task force continued to help people transport their belongings out of the dangerous area.

Many households living along the Ho Chi Minh Highway have had their houses damaged by landslides from the embankment.

Not far from there, the former headquarters of the A Vuong Commune People's Committee also experienced subsidence, while the M'xoi residential area (Ga'lau village) suffered from soil erosion and ground subsidence.
According to Mr. Bui The Anh, Chairman of the People's Committee of La Deee commune, the commune's Civil Defense Command is coordinating with the Border Guard to assist people in harvesting rice, moving property, and evacuating residents from landslide-prone areas.

Authorities are also working to repair the cut-off roads, but due to heavy rain and steep terrain, some sections are still impassable.
In particular, the village of Dac Ha Loi is currently blocked by landslides at both ends of the road, and the local authorities are continuing to contact relevant agencies for assistance.

Mr. Pham Duc An, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, signed Decision No. 2243/QD-UBND declaring a state of emergency due to natural disaster in the landslide area of Arooi village residential area (Hung Son commune).
Specifically, the level of landslides in the Arooi village residential area (Hung Son commune) is at an alarming level, with a high risk of landslides threatening the safety of 2 households, directly affecting more than 13 households living nearby, 1 community center (Gươl house), and the national defense road, causing difficulties in transportation.
Due to the ongoing landslide in the Arooi village residential area, which poses a significant risk of spreading across the village and seriously affecting the lives and property of residents, Mr. Pham Duc An proposed the immediate implementation of temporary measures to prevent further landslides, protect the lives and property of residents, and safeguard essential infrastructure.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Son commune - Head of the Civil Defense Command of Hung Son commune - will continue to implement urgent measures that need to be applied immediately to respond to and mitigate the consequences in order to prevent and minimize damage caused by natural disasters.
This includes proactively mobilizing forces, vehicles, and resources to quickly evacuate and relocate people from dangerous areas when necessary. It also involves ensuring logistical support for people at evacuation sites, strengthening the placement of warning signs, demarcating dangerous areas, and deploying security forces to ensure the safety of residents.
Organize landslide risk mitigation efforts in the area, ensuring compliance with regulations regarding procedures, documentation, and related processes.
