Thanks to funding from Program 1719, many schools have received investment to build large classrooms, modern laboratories, and equip them with appropriate teaching equipment; spacious sports fields have been constructed for students to play and participate in outdoor educational activities, developing their physical and mental well-being. In addition, students receive support for accommodation, tuition, and transportation costs; and teachers receive various incentives to ensure they can focus on teaching.
Phan Boi Chau Ethnic Boarding Junior High School (Ea Trang commune) has approximately 450 students each year, including 120 boarding students, with 98.8% of the students being from ethnic minority groups. Since the school received investment in the construction of boarding facilities, subject classrooms, and other supporting infrastructure, students' learning has become much easier. Mr. Tran Van Dung, the school principal, shared: “The construction of the boarding facilities has helped the school solve its biggest long-standing problem: providing safe accommodation for students. Being in the boarding facility allows students to eat properly and on time, making their studies more convenient. They not only attend school regularly and have more time to study, leading to deeper understanding of the material, but they can also easily ask questions and discuss life-related issues with teachers after school hours. As a result, the quality of education at the school has improved compared to before.”
The N' Trang Lơng Ethnic Boarding High School (Thanh Nhat Ward) has also had its facilities upgraded to better care for its students. Mr. Bui Xuan Le, the principal of the N' Trang Lơng Ethnic Boarding High School, said that the school has over 600 students, mostly boarding students. In addition to repairing classrooms and related facilities, the school has also received investment for a new three-story dormitory with 24 rooms, currently under construction, contributing to improved living conditions for boarding students.
Each year, Ea Súp Ethnic Boarding Junior High School (Ea Súp commune) has approximately 140 students; of which 90% are children of ethnic minorities from remote villages and hamlets, and 10% have permanent residence in areas with particularly difficult socio -economic conditions. Thanks to investment capital from Program 1719, in 2024, Ea Súp Ethnic Boarding Junior High School put into operation a two-story building (including 4 subject classrooms and a room for managing boarding students); a community center; a fire prevention and fighting system; raised the schoolyard level and built a drainage system.

According to Mr. Le Phi Hung, Principal of Ea Sup Ethnic Boarding Junior High School, the school's current facilities meet the requirements for safe boarding according to regulations; therefore, the quality of education and student care is constantly improving, and there is no longer a problem of students dropping out midway through the school year. Along with improving facilities, the school is gradually digitizing its management and operation in line with the Ministry of Education and Training's direction on digital transformation in education.
According to Tran Ngoc Hoang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Sup commune, the success of educational policies for ethnic minority areas over the years has contributed to raising the intellectual level of the people. The number of children from villages entering universities, colleges, or vocational schools is increasing. This has created a highly skilled workforce, serving the socio-economic development of the locality.
