Ngo Gia Tu No. 1 High School (Ea Kar commune) currently has 82 staff and teachers and 1,434 students. Along with the rapid development of knowledge and technology, the school's teaching faces numerous challenges such as: the increasing need for personalized learning among students, while large class sizes make it difficult for teachers to closely monitor each student; and the ever-increasing volume of knowledge makes it difficult for students to grasp everything comprehensively using only traditional methods.
Furthermore, the pressure to innovate teaching methods requires teachers to constantly update their technology and skills; student assessment is sometimes too formal and lacks in-depth analysis of individual abilities. In this context, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and learning is seen as an inevitable trend to address these difficulties.
In fact, after more than a year of applying AI to teaching and management at Ngo Gia Tu No. 1 High School, the positive results have been evident. AI has become a powerful "assistant" for teachers. With current AI platforms, teachers can easily create smart lesson plans, lecture suggestion systems, illustrative images, or simulated experiments, making lessons more dynamic and intuitive. AI can also create a rich question bank, categorized by difficulty level, and even automatically analyze test results to identify groups of students needing support. As a result, teachers save considerable time searching for materials, focusing more on teaching methods and supporting students in class; at the same time, they can create many types of exercises suitable for each learning group, and assess and monitor student learning outcomes on a scientific basis, not based on subjective feelings.

For students, AI offers many new learning experiences. Smart learning applications can automatically assess each student's abilities, thereby providing a suitable learning path. For subjects requiring practical work, such as Biology and Chemistry, students can participate in virtual experiments, which are both safe and cost-effective. For Literature, AI can analyze exam questions, create outlines, and solve grammar and vocabulary problems efficiently and effectively. In foreign language learning, AI acts as an "online tutor," ready to communicate, correct pronunciation, and suggest vocabulary to students anytime, anywhere. Some students have used chatbots to practice writing English daily, initially improving their skills. Specifically, three students from the school were selected for the Vietnamese team to compete in the international finals at the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand (IOELLS 2025 International English Olympiad). Participated in the International Youth STEM Competition in Malaysia in 2024, winning one special prize and one first prize.
The school administration has utilized AI in management and teaching, as well as STEM education , contributing to improved management efficiency. The learning data analysis system helps the administration closely monitor underperforming students who need support.
