Recently, Ms. PTC (born in 1999, residing in Huong Son commune, Ha Tinh province) posted photos of her daughter, LNTN (over 2 years old), attending Pho Chau town kindergarten on her personal Facebook page. The posted images show that N. came home from school with numerous bite marks, bruises, and scratches all over her body.
Ms. C shared: "Until now, I've only seen such cases online, and I never thought that one day this would happen to my own child."
According to Ms. C., the incident occurred at Pho Chau Town Kindergarten. Around 3 PM on December 10th, her mother came to the school to pick up her granddaughter. Afterwards, while bathing her daughter, she discovered many bruised bite marks and scratches on the child's arms and face.
"When I saw my child in that condition, all I could do was cry. As a mother, seeing my child like that broke my heart," Ms. C shared.

According to this person, the teacher in charge of the class did not inform anyone about the incident beforehand, and the class's parent Zalo group also had no related information.
Only when the family proactively contacted the teacher did the teacher send a message to the class group chat with content deemed irresponsible, including the response "I have so much work to do." This angered the parents.
Ms. C. stated that she had requested the school to review the surveillance camera footage to understand what happened. However, upon arriving at the school, the family was informed that the camera system had lost data for several days due to a "power outage," making it impossible to retrieve the images.
In a group chat between the teacher and parents, teacher Thanh Ha stated that accidents such as biting, scratching, falls resulting in broken arms and legs are common in preschools. She urged parents to understand, sympathize, and work together in caring for their children.
"Every preschool teacher wants the children to be safe. She works non-stop, tirelessly, so that the children can be like this. In TN's case, the mother is very understanding because today's incident was unusual. The teacher has sent messages and called to express her sympathy. When handing the children over, because she was alone, she didn't have time to offer individual sympathy," excerpts from the teacher's message to the parent.

On the morning of December 16th, Ms. C. (mother of TN) stated: "This morning I went to the school to discuss the matter, and a technician also reviewed the security camera footage. They confirmed that there was a technical issue, not that the camera footage was deleted. Currently, my child's wounds have healed, but she is still traumatized and hasn't returned to school. Yesterday afternoon, the school came to my house to apologize and express their understanding."
Speaking with a VietNamNet reporter, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Sa, Principal of Pho Chau Town Kindergarten, said that the school had also submitted a report to the Department of Education and Training regarding the incident.
According to Ms. Sa, last night (December 15th), the school staff came to the house and found that TN's wounds had healed. "This morning, the child's mother came to the school to clarify the incident regarding the camera footage. When the child was injured, the teacher only noticed the wounds on her face and didn't know that there were internal injuries as well, so she didn't inform the parents in time. That was a shortcoming of the classroom teacher, and she has admitted her mistake," Ms. Sa said.
According to the Principal, the school held a meeting to review the teacher's conduct regarding the unsafe conditions for the children in the classroom. "This is also a lesson for all teachers in the school. The teacher's lack of tact in sending messages in the class group led to the parents, who were worried about their children, reading such messages and becoming upset. It's understandable that the parents are upset. The school hopes the family will understand," added Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Sa.
