Nguyen Tan, Director of the Hue City Department of Education and Training, has just signed a notice recognizing the results of the teacher recruitment exam for public educational institutions in the city.
Accordingly, for the preschool level, 78 candidates were admitted out of a total of 79 allocated slots; of which 73 candidates were admitted based on their first choice, and 5 candidates were admitted based on their second choice. One slot at Huong Mai Preschool (Vinh Loc commune) remains unfilled due to a lack of candidates meeting the admission score.
At the primary school level, 49 out of 52 positions have been filled. This includes 48 candidates who passed their first choice and 1 candidate who passed their second choice. There are currently 3 unfilled positions: 1 at Dien Loc Primary School (Phong Phu Ward) and 2 teachers at Binh An Primary School (Chan May Commune – Lang Co District) due to the lack of candidates meeting the required scores.
For the lower secondary level, all 12 positions have been filled, including 6 math teachers, 4 English teachers, and 2 literature teachers.
Specifically for the high school level, only one candidate was selected: Ms. Duong Thi My Le (born in 1999), a Literature teacher. Currently, Nam Dong High School still has one vacant position for a Mathematics teacher.
According to Mr. Nguyen Tan (Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hue City, Chairman of the Examination Council), the exam was held on November 11th and 12th, 2025, to supplement the teaching staff for all levels of education. This year, the Department was assigned to recruit 145 positions but has only recruited 140 so far.

The teacher recruitment examination for the 2025-2026 school year will be conducted in a two-round format. Round 1 is a general knowledge test in the form of a computer-based multiple-choice exam with 60 questions, lasting 60 minutes. Candidates who answer 50% or more of the questions correctly will be eligible to participate in Round 2.
Round 2 is a professional skills test in the form of an oral interview, aimed at assessing knowledge and professional skills required for the job position.
