The US is creating a 'Technology Task Force' to recruit 1,000 AI talents, with salaries up to $200,000.

The administration of US President Donald Trump has just announced a new initiative called the "US Tech Force," which plans to recruit approximately 1,000 engineers and experts to develop artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and key financial projects for the federal government.

On December 15th, the Trump administration officially launched this ambitious initiative. According to information from the official US government website, participants will commit to working in a two-year program.

These expert teams will report directly to agency leaders, operating in close collaboration with leading global technology companies. This is seen as a strategic step to modernize the state apparatus through advanced technological solutions.

The list of private sector partners participating in this network includes technology giants such as Amazon Web Services, Apple, Google Public Sector, Dell Technologies, Microsoft, Nvidia, OpenAI, Oracle, Palantir, and Salesforce, among many others. The involvement of these corporations extends beyond providing expertise; it also opens up attractive career opportunities for workers.

Specifically, after completing their government service, Tech Force members can seek full-time employment opportunities at the aforementioned partner companies. These businesses have committed to considering hiring former members of the program.

Conversely, this mechanism also allows private partners to nominate their employees to serve in the government for a specified period, creating a flexible flow of knowledge between the public and private sectors.

Regarding compensation, the annual salary for positions in the "Technology Team" is expected to range from $150,000 to $200,000, along with other benefits.

The primary mission of this engineering team will focus on high-impact technology initiatives, including AI deployment, application development, data modernization, and digital service delivery across federal agencies.

Scott Kupor, Director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), emphasized that the initiative's goal is to reshape the workforce, ensuring the government has the right talent to solve the right problems.
