Delegates attending the awards ceremony.

This annual award, organized by the Nhan Dan Newspaper in collaboration with VCCorp Joint Stock Company, has become a prestigious national award honoring individuals, organizations, and businesses that persistently create positive value for society through community initiatives and projects with long-lasting impact. With the theme "Persistent Service," the 2025 competition received 160 entries, an increase from 138 projects in 2024. Entries came from businesses, social organizations, volunteer groups, and individuals nationwide, spanning various fields: nature conservation, sustainable livelihood development, education , healthcare, equal opportunity, welfare for vulnerable groups, honoring history, preserving cultural identity, and green transformation in production and business.

Comrade Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Vice President of Vietnam , presented the Community Action of the Year Award to the winning units.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Comrade Le Quoc Minh emphasized that the spirit of "Persistent Service" is the thread connecting the three seasons of the Community Action Award: "What makes community action strong is not a moment of brilliance, but persistent, repeated steps every day. 'Persistent Service' is not a slogan, but a way of life, a choice of many people with whom the Community Action Award has the honor of accompanying."

Comrade Le Quoc Minh delivered a speech at the program.

Many stories shared this season also touched the hearts of listeners, because behind the numbers were very personal yet courageous choices. One such story is the 17-year "Lighting a Matchstick" initiative by Lieutenant Colonel and journalist Hoang Truong Giang (People's Army Newspaper), from remote highland classrooms to struggling military families. The highlight of "Lighting a Matchstick" is the combination of the strengths of three pillars: the community, the armed forces, and the press. This is a unique "collaborative" model that provides accurate information, builds trust, and ensures the effectiveness of resource mobilization and utilization. The project not only improves living and learning conditions through concrete projects but also contributes to strengthening the spirit, belief, and motivation of students, officers, soldiers, and their families.

From 160 projects, 27 were selected to participate in the 2025 Final Round of the award. Each project representative presented, debated, and engaged in direct dialogue with the Judging Panel to select the best project in each category, and ultimately decide on the top award - the Human Act Prize 2025.

Lieutenant Colonel and journalist Hoang Truong Giang (People's Army Newspaper) received the award in the Inspirational Project category.
The organizing committee presented awards in the "Inspiring Project" category to organizations and individuals.

At the Final Round, many projects received direct support to continue maintaining and expanding their impact. Notably, guest judge, singer Ho Ngoc Ha, donated 300 million VND to the 116 Waterway Rescue Team; and 200 million VND to the "Light a Match" project - a 17-year initiative for children in mountainous areas and disadvantaged military families by Lieutenant Colonel and journalist Hoang Truong Giang.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, donated 100 million VND to the "Humanity in the Midst of Storms" project of Team 116, contributing to strengthening rescue and relief capabilities on rivers and coastal areas.

Comrade Phan Van Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, presented awards to the three projects that received prizes in the Timely Project category.
