Evacuate people to safety.

Due to prolonged heavy rain, areas of groups 1, 2, 3 of Phuoc An village, Thang Truong commune, Da Nang city were deeply flooded, many places with water levels higher than 2m, seriously affecting the lives of about 80 households with nearly 200 people. Evacuation work was urgently deployed in the form of both interspersing households and concentrating on shelters guaranteed by the locality.

Lieutenant Colonel Vo Minh Tuong (pointing), Political Commissar of PTKV 4 Command - Ban Thach, directed forces to help people.

Present at the scene, comrade Vo Tan Thuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Thang Truong commune, assessed: "With a high sense of responsibility, officers and soldiers of the PTKV 4 - Ban Thach Command and local forces completed the evacuation of assets and encouraged heavily flooded households to move to safe shelters."

Mr. Nguyen Bay, resident of Group 2, Phuoc An village, said: People in Phuoc An village are very grateful for the timely and responsible help of the officers and soldiers of the PTKV 4 - Ban Thach Command. They have helped people protect their lives and property.

All residents were evacuated to safe shelters by the PTKV 4 - Ban Thach Command.

The simple and meaningful work of the officers and soldiers of the PTKV 4 - Ban Thach Command continues to affirm the core role of the local armed forces in natural disaster prevention and control, search and rescue; strengthen the solidarity relationship between the army and the people and spread the noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era.
