Department of Education and Training preliminarily evaluates startup competition projects in 2025

- On the afternoon of October 27, the Department of Education and Training organized a preliminary judging of student projects participating in the "Students with Startup Ideas" Contest in 2025. The contest is part of a series of activities to implement the Project "Supporting Students to Start a Business by 2025" in the province.

This year, the competition attracted 284 projects to participate in the preliminary round, an increase of nearly 2.5 times compared to previous years. The projects focus on the following areas: industry; agriculture, forestry, fishery; education, health , culture, tourism; financial services, banking and business creating social impact. Projects are selected from high schools, middle schools, and educational centers.   regular education , education   vocational education   - teacher   regular exercise   and vocational training facilities in the province.

The judges listened to the announcement of the scoring rules.

During 2 days (October 27 and 28), the Jury will study the documents and score them according to the prescribed criteria such as: necessity and application, feasibility, novelty and creativity, presentation format, implementation capacity of the author group... to select typical projects for the final round. Projects that achieve at least 50% of the total maximum score in the preliminary round will be eligible to compete at the provincial level.

As planned, the final round of the competition will be held within the framework of the Provincial Startup Festival, scheduled to take place in November 2025, with activities such as project presentations, product exhibitions, business exchanges and connections, and awarding prizes to outstanding projects.

The competition is organized to equip knowledge about startups, support scientific research, digital transformation and STEM education in schools; at the same time, search for potential projects to introduce to businesses and investment funds. The expected prize structure includes: 2 first prizes, 15 second prizes, 25 third prizes and 40 consolation prizes.
