Heavy rains isolated many areas in Dai Loc district. Da Nang city military forces mobilized vehicles to overcome the flood, promptly and safely taking three seriously injured people to the hospital for emergency treatment.

On the morning of October 28, the "flood center" of Dai Loc, Da Nang city continued to be submerged in water and caused many areas in Dai Loc district to be isolated.
According to information from the Da Nang City Military Command, after receiving the news that injured people needed emergency care in the "flood center" area, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Thang - Deputy Commander of the City Military Command directed the forces of the Defense Command of Region 5 - Dien Ban to mobilize vehicles to the scene to support the people.
The force quickly reached Dai Cuong commune, which was completely cut off by rising floodwaters, and transported three seriously injured people to the hospital for treatment. The victims included: Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Nam (90 years old), who broke her leg during evacuation; Mr. Le Van Bao (35 years old), who suffered from acute appendicitis; and Mr. Nguyen Dac Thang, a police officer of Vu Gia commune, who broke his leg while on a rescue mission.

The road leading to the area was deeply flooded, with many sections of water flowing rapidly, making it inaccessible for motor vehicles. The military had to use two canoes to operate in rotation, sometimes pulling, pushing, and even carrying the canoes by hand through the whirlpools to overcome the flood. After more than an hour of arduous journey, the patients were taken to the Northern Mountainous Region General Hospital of Quang Nam for timely emergency treatment and safety.
The working group of region 5 continues to inspect and review deeply flooded areas, coordinate with local authorities to evacuate people from dangerous areas and provide essential goods to isolated households./.
