The Deputy Minister said that based on the contents agreed at the conference, the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Vietnam will work with the Ministry of Cults and Religions of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction to exchange and consult with the governments of the three countries to build a support mechanism and promote Buddhist activities in each country as well as common connection programs. "We hope that the values of harmony, compassion and wisdom of Buddhism will continue to spread, making practical contributions to peace and sustainable development in the region," Deputy Minister Nguyen Hai Trung emphasized.
He affirmed that the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Vietnam will create the most favorable conditions for the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha to strengthen cooperation with Buddhism in Cambodia and Laos.
Regarding Buddhist organizations, the Deputy Minister suggested that the three countries build a common action program towards harmony, peace and sustainable development, not only within each country but also through regional cooperation activities. Thereby, promoting the spreading power of Buddhism in social life and accompanying the Governments of the countries for the common goal: a prosperous and happy life for everyone.
