Ca Da Bridge on National Highway 24C was completely washed away by floodwaters.

DNO - At noon on October 29, floodwaters on the Truong River rose and eroded the entire Ca Da bridge pier on National Highway 24C, the border section between Tra My and Tra Tan communes, cutting off traffic on the vital route connecting Da Nang and Quang Ngai.

As reported by Da Nang Newspaper, Radio and Television, on the afternoon of October 26, a deep hole appeared at the Ca Da bridge area due to the flood gouging the bridge pier, causing a motorbike to fall in, but fortunately no one was injured. Immediately after the incident, the Da Nang City Department of Construction directed the management unit to put up a rope to block the road and urgently survey and find a solution.

* From the evening of October 28 to noon of October 29, prolonged heavy rain combined with hydroelectric dam discharges caused the water levels of Truong River and Nuoc Oa River to rise, causing widespread flooding and landslides in the communes of Tra My, Tra Tan, and Tra Doc. Traffic in the entire region was paralyzed, and many residential areas were isolated.

Rescue forces and the military deployed drones to deliver food and support to people in isolated areas.

* In Tra Giap commune , as of noon on October 29, heavy rain caused serious landslides at 12 new points on the road leading to the commune center, with rocks and soil filling the entire route, making it impossible for vehicles to pass.

At about 11:05 a.m. on October 29, a large hill collapsed onto the main road, completely burying two houses of households: Dinh Van Linh and Nguyen Thanh Ai (6 people), causing damage to all their property. In addition, two households, Truong Hoang Dung (6 people) and Nguyen Van Tai (4 people), suffered heavy damage, both in village 2.

On the morning of October 29, Nguyen Thi Huong's household (3 people) also had its house completely collapsed, fortunately there were no human casualties.
