Da Nang City Military Command provides food to flood victims in Duy Nghia commune

DNO - On October 29, Colonel Tran Huu Ich, Commander of the Da Nang City Military Command, inspected, visited and encouraged people in flooded areas of Duy Nghia commune.

Faced with the situation where 18 residential groups of Duy Nghia commune with more than 2,000 households (over 8,000 people) are isolated in the floodwaters, the leaders of the Da Nang City Military Command deployed forces and vehicles to approach dangerous areas, providing bottled drinking water, dry food, instant noodles, milk... to help people overcome the immediate difficulties.

In Duy Nghia commune, Colonel Tran Huu Ich requested the Defense Command of Region 5 - Dien Ban, local militia forces to coordinate with Division 315 and units of Military Region 5, along with the government and philanthropists, to increase inspections of low-lying residential areas and provide timely support to people in case of emergency.

All forces must uphold their sense of responsibility and be determined not to let any people go hungry, lack drinking water, or have their lives threatened by floods.

In the face of complicated flood situation, Da Nang City Military Command maintains a 24/7 hotline, ready to receive rescue information; organizes combat forces at key points, proactively prepares rescue plans, ensures adequate food and absolute safety for the people.
