Accordingly, in the early morning of October 28, heavy rain broke the road through Ngoc Nang village, causing traffic to be cut off. Currently, all 5 villages of Ngoc Nang, Mo Po, Xa Ua, Ngoc Lan, Tu Rang with dozens of households are completely isolated. The authorities only had time to evacuate more than 11 households in the dangerous area of Ngoc Nang village to a safe place.
"Currently, local authorities and functional forces are making efforts to reach the 5 isolated villages and deploy emergency evacuation plans; preparing necessities, food, and medicine to provide when people need it. It is expected that this afternoon, October 28, trails will be opened to access these 5 villages," added the Secretary of the Ngoc Linh Commune Party Committee.

Previously, at around 1am on October 28, also in Ngoc Linh commune, a flash flood suddenly poured into the Dak Rong stream area, Lang Moi village, sweeping away rocks and soil, damaging roads, drainage systems, coffee, macadamia, rice fields, and livestock barns of local households. Fortunately, the flood was about 500m away from the residential area, so people's houses were safe and there were no casualties.
