Accordingly, in the early morning of October 28th, heavy rains severed the road through Ngoc Nang village, cutting off traffic. Currently, all five villages of Ngoc Nang, Mo Po, Xa Ua, Ngoc Lan, and Tu Rang, with dozens of households, are completely isolated. Authorities were only able to evacuate more than 11 households in the dangerous area of Ngoc Nang village to a safe location.
"Currently, local authorities and relevant forces are making efforts to reach the five isolated villages and implement emergency evacuation plans; preparing essential supplies, food, and medicine to provide when people need them. It is expected that a trail will be opened this afternoon, October 28th, to access these five villages," the Party Secretary of Ngoc Linh commune added.

Earlier, at around 1 AM on October 28th, also in Ngoc Linh commune, a sudden flash flood swept through the Dak Rong stream area in Lang Moi village, carrying away soil and rocks, damaging roads, drainage culverts, and coffee, macadamia, and rice paddies, as well as livestock barns belonging to local households. Fortunately, the flood occurred about 500 meters away from the residential area, so people's houses were safe and there were no casualties.
