In the communes of Dai Loc, which is considered the flood center of Da Nang City, the city's armed forces were mobilized to the maximum, using mobile canoes to go to deeply flooded areas, supporting people to move, transporting necessities and ensuring the safety of residential areas. Officers and soldiers promptly took two people to the emergency room, one of whom had a broken arm and the other had appendicitis and were promptly treated.
At the same time, the military forces coordinated with local authorities to visit, encourage and prepare 70 mats, 20 20-liter water bottles, 4 buckets of water, 40 boxes of fish and 100 cartons of instant noodles and gave more than 260 free meals to people in villages in Thanh My commune, Da Nang city who are avoiding floods.
The Navy Region 3 soldiers also coordinated with local authorities to supply food to isolated households in deep flooded areas. Immediately after arriving in the areas affected by the floods, the Navy Region 3 officers and soldiers quickly coordinated with local authorities to classify and package necessities including instant noodles, bread, dry food, drinking water, etc. to transport and deliver directly to isolated households, ensuring that no one suffered from hunger or cold.
