As of 4:00 p.m. on October 29, individuals, units, and organizations have registered to support people in flood-affected areas with over 1,105 billion VND.

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support people in flood-affected areas, many agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals at home and abroad have donated through the account of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

As of 4:00 p.m. on October 29, individuals, units, and organizations have registered to donate over 1,105 billion VND.

Of which, the amount of support transferred to the accounts of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee is 494 billion VND. Along with that, Vingroup Corporation registered to support through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front the amount of 500 billion VND and handed it directly to the localities (currently disbursed over 211 billion VND).

List of donation allocations

For the donation registration of Hanoi City, the amount of 100 billion VND; Can Tho City 2.5 billion VND; Ecopark Group 10 billion VND; Samsung Vietnam 5 billion VND; Honda Vietnam 1 billion VND has been transferred directly to the accounts of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of the localities.

On October 29, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee announced that, based on the amount transferred to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, the Committee has allocated 3 phases with a total budget of 428 billion VND to support 17 provinces and cities to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, including: Thai Nguyen (45 billion VND); Nghe An, Ha Tinh (40.5 billion VND); Quang Tri (35.5 billion VND); Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang (35 billion VND); Lang Son (30.5 billion VND); Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa (25.5 billion VND); Lao Cai (25 billion VND); Bac Ninh , Phu Tho (20 billion VND); Son La (15 billion VND); Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Hue (10 billion VND); Dien Bien (5 billion VND).

Also on October 29, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 2400/QD-TTg providing emergency funding for Hue city, Quang Tri province and Quang Ngai province to overcome damage caused by floods.

Specifically, support of 350 billion VND from the central budget reserve in 2025 for 3 localities to meet immediate urgent needs and stabilize people's lives after floods, including: Hue city 150 billion VND, Quang Tri province 100 billion VND and Quang Ngai province 100 billion VND as proposed by the Ministry of Finance.
