According to the resolution, a total of over 80 hectares of converted forest land has been allocated to 7 projects in the communes and wards of the province. Of these, the Binh Nghi Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project (Binh Nghi Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Development Co., Ltd. as the investor) occupies the largest area of forest land, with 27.6 hectares of production forest in Tay Son and An Nhon Tay communes.

The investment project for the construction of a rest stop at Km77+820 on the Eastern North-South Expressway, section passing through Hoai Nhon Tay ward (invested by Vietnam Petroleum Corporation), will convert 8.8 hectares of production forest.
To serve the land excavation project for leveling materials in Quy Nhon Tay ward, Gia Lai province, more than 5 hectares of production forest will be converted; while the Thuy Ha Binh Dinh wood chip processing plant project in Hoai Nhon Nam ward proposes converting 2.3 hectares of production forest.

In addition, the resettlement project serving the Phu My Industrial Park and neighboring projects will convert more than 33.36 hectares of protective forest in plot 1, sub-area 150 of Phu My Dong commune (including 9.44 hectares of planted casuarina forest on sand; 16 hectares of other planted forests, the rest being coconut plantations, barren sand dunes, and vacant land...).
Tuition support for 38,000 students in private schools.
At the session, the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council also approved many other social welfare policies, including a resolution to support tuition fees for 38,000 students in private schools.
According to the resolution, starting from the 2025-2026 school year, the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee will implement a policy to support tuition fees for preschool children, primary and secondary school students, and learners in general education programs at private and non-governmental institutions in the province.
The support level is equivalent to the tuition fees of public schools at the same educational level, specifically: 300,000 VND/student/month in urban areas; 100,000 – 200,000 VND/student/month in rural areas; and 50,000 – 100,000 VND/student/month in ethnic minority and mountainous regions.
With approximately 38,000 students currently enrolled in private educational institutions, the total estimated funding for support is nearly 75 billion VND.
