BIDV signed a cooperation agreement on supporting import-export businesses.

On October 27, 2025, BIDV and the Department of Trade Defense - Ministry of Industry and Trade signed a cooperation agreement on supporting import-export enterprises in global trade.

The event marked a significant step forward, bridging the gap between businesses, government agencies, and credit institutions, contributing to the development of a sustainable trade ecosystem and helping Vietnamese import-export businesses proactively respond to trade defense cases globally.

At the event, Mr. Doan Viet Nam – Deputy General Director of BIDV – affirmed: "As the largest commercial bank in terms of total assets, BIDV is proud to accompany Vietnamese businesses in expanding into global markets. Through this cooperation, we will provide a comprehensive financial solutions package, helping businesses save costs and enhance their competitiveness in international trade."

The Deputy General Director of the Vietnamese delegation delivered a speech at the signing ceremony.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Luong Hoang Thai – Director of the Trade Remedies Department (TRD) emphasized: "With more than 200 trade remedy cases that Vietnam has faced from 2017 to the present, mainly from the US, EU and India, this cooperation will help businesses access information early, minimize losses and shift from a passive to an active position. The TRD will share information, provide legal advice and organize in-depth training to enhance the trade remedy capacity of businesses that are BIDV's clients and partners."

This is a breakthrough in the digitalization of international trade operations, affirming BIDV's pioneering role in providing modern technology solutions for businesses.
