Promoting incubation and dissemination of innovative models: BSR Innovation Center cooperates with the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Ngai province

Within the framework of the Workshop "Breakthrough Solutions on Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation in Quang Ngai Province" held on the morning of October 25, 2025 in Mang Den Commune, the Innovation Center - Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) and the Center for Digital Transformation and Innovation under the Department of Science and Technology (KH&CN) of Quang Ngai signed a cooperation agreement, opening up a new direction in strengthening connections, sharing resources and promoting science, technology and innovation activities in the province.

The workshop was held in the context of Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, which is entering a period of strong implementation. Many in-depth discussions at the workshop focused on analyzing the urgent requirements of building a local innovation ecosystem, promoting the application of digital technology in production and management, and closely connecting research institutes, universities and businesses to form a comprehensive innovation value chain.

Many notable contents were presented such as: Breakthrough solutions for developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in Quang Ngai province; Orientation for human resource development in this field; Digital transformation solutions in the agricultural sector; Application of biotechnology and digital transformation in the development orientation of the Center for Science and Technology Application of Quang Ngai province to 2030, vision 2045; or digital transformation experience in Mang Den towards digital government, digital society and digital citizens.

The signing of the cooperation agreement between the two centers is a step to concretize the orientation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW, and at the same time demonstrates the strong commitment of BSR - the leading industrial enterprise of Quang Ngai province in accompanying the locality in developing science, technology and innovation. According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides agreed to coordinate the implementation of key activities such as: sharing experiences, data and promoting communication in professional work; coordinating the organization of seminars, talks, training courses and coaching on digital transformation, technology innovation; cooperating in research and application of new technologies to serve production and business management; at the same time promoting incubation, testing and replication of innovation models in enterprises and the public sector.

In addition, the two sides will jointly build a coordination mechanism to connect the Quang Ngai province innovation ecosystem with the national and international innovation network, contributing to bringing highly applicable research ideas and products into production practices, creating sustainable economic and social values.

The cooperation between BSR Innovation Center and Quang Ngai Digital Transformation & Innovation Center is expected to create a strong spillover effect, connecting resources between businesses and management agencies, promoting technology initiatives - innovation into practice, making practical contributions to the goal of science - technology development and digital transformation of Quang Ngai province in the new period.
