According to the coordination plan between the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Xuan Loc commune, the competition is for individuals, teams (men, women) and the whole group. Competition content for men: Run 05km, Climb 02km; for women: Run 02km, Climb 02km.
Regarding the scale of the tournament, there are 3 systems: Commune movement system (including hamlets, armed forces units, unions, enterprises, schools in Xuan Loc commune are allowed to establish 01 team to participate in the tournament); Commune system (communes in Dong Nai province are allowed to establish 01 team to participate in the tournament); Open system (The Tournament Organizing Committee invites units from Lam Dong, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai provinces and Ho Chi Minh City to participate in the tournament).
It is known that the Chua Chan Mountain Cross-Country Race is a traditional cultural and sports activity that has been organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Xuan Loc district for many years, attracting a large number of cadres, union members, youth, athletes and people to participate. The tournament not only contributes to improving health and building solidarity in the community, but is also an opportunity to promote the image of the national relic and scenic spot of Chua Chan Mountain to tourists inside and outside the province.
After implementing the 2-level local government model, Xuan Loc commune was established on the basis of receiving the administrative boundaries of Xuan Truong, Xuan Tho, Suoi Cat, Xuan Hiep communes and Gia Ray town of the former Xuan Loc district, in which Chua Chan mountain is now under the administrative boundaries of the new Xuan Loc commune. In order to inherit, maintain and promote the spiritual values, cultural and sports traditions of the locality, the People's Committee of Xuan Loc commune and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism have coordinated to develop a plan to organize the 1st Chua Chan Mountain Cross-Country Race in 2025.
