Guide to implementing a program to support a reliable and secure online presence

(DN) - On October 28, the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province and the Vietnam Internet Center Branch in Ho Chi Minh City - a unit under the Ministry of Science and Technology (referred to as VNNIC Branch in Ho Chi Minh City) held a conference to deploy and guide the implementation of the program to promote and support people, businesses, and business households to have a reliable and safe online presence with digital services using the national domain name ".vn" in the province.

Attending the conference were Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province Nguyen Minh Quang, Head of VNNIC Center Branch in Ho Chi Minh City Do Quang Trung. The conference was organized in a combination of in-person and online formats to communes and wards.

At the conference, experts and related units shared and introduced an overview and methods of implementing the online presence program with the national domain name “.vn”; registering and using the domain names id.vn, biz.vn and digital services (website, email)…

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province Nguyen Minh Quang emphasized: This conference is a concrete step to implement Decision No. 826/2024/QD-BTTTT of the Ministry of Information and Communications (formerly) on supporting people, businesses, and business households to have a reliable and safe online presence with digital services using the national domain name .vn in provinces and cities in the period of 2024-2025 and Plan No. 131/KH-UBND dated October 10, 2025 of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province on implementing the online presence program with the national domain name ".vn" in Dong Nai province.

This is a meaningful activity, contributing to raising awareness, digital skills and online presence capacity for people, businesses, students and youth in Dong Nai province. At the same time, it promotes the province's digital transformation index (DTI) and e-commerce index (EBI). This program targets two main groups: businesses, business households and people, especially young people from 18 to 23 years old.
