Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha visits and encourages patients undergoing treatment.

Joining the delegation were leaders from the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense , and the 4th Military Region Command. Representing Hue City were Central Committee member and City Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung, and Deputy City Party Secretary and Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thien Dinh.

Here, the Deputy Prime Minister and the delegation directly visited the hospital to inquire about the treatment situation, share the difficulties faced by the hospital, and present many gifts to support patients undergoing treatment, especially those with serious conditions, the elderly, patients with mobility impairments, and disabled children. The delegation also sent gifts to encourage the doctors, nurses, technicians, and staff on duty in the flood-affected area.

The Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Hue City Rehabilitation Hospital in promptly and safely relocating 27 patients from facility 2 (30 To Hien Thanh) to facility 1 (93 Dang Huy Tru) during the high floodwaters, with the support of the City People's Committee, the Military Command, and the local police.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested that localities and the health sector continue to ensure absolute safety for inpatients, maintain continuous rehabilitation treatment without interruption even in the event of natural disasters; and at the same time, take care of the rest, nutrition, and protection for medical personnel - those who are both performing the duty of saving lives and have families in the flooded areas.

On this occasion, the Ministry of National Defence, the 4th Military Region Command, and the Hue City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also presented gifts to the hospital and patients undergoing treatment.

City leaders receive emergency aid from the Russian Federation government for people affected by floods.

Earlier, during an online meeting with the Prime Minister on flood response efforts, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City received emergency aid from the Government of the Russian Federation for people affected by storms and floods; and also received 1 billion VND in support from ActionAid International in Vietnam to help people overcome damage caused by floods.
