Commendation of cadres and teachers with outstanding achievements in caring for and educating children with disabilities

On the morning of October 29, the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children held a conference to honor officials and teachers with outstanding achievements in caring for and educating disabled children at schools, centers for disabled children and in the community in the city.

This is a meaningful activity, towards the 43rd Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day.

Praising teachers, education officers, and officials who have joined hands with the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children to do a good job of caring for and educating disabled children in the area, Permanent Vice President of the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children Bui Van Tuan named outstanding units and collectives, including schools for disabled children under the Hanoi Department of Education and Training such as: Nguyen Dinh Chieu Secondary School (teaching visually impaired children); Xa Dan Secondary School (teaching hearing impaired children); Binh Minh Primary School (teaching mentally retarded children). These are schools for disabled children with a fairly comprehensive scale, appropriate educational methods, rich experience and clear effectiveness, and have been the core units leading the process of inclusive education for disabled children not only in Hanoi but also promoting the effect of replication nationwide.

Along with that are specialized schools for disabled children, including Soc Son School for Disabled Children; Binh Minh - Dong Anh Special School, Thanh Tri School for Disabled Children, Hy Vong - Long Bien General School... Although the facilities and teaching and learning equipment are still lacking, with the determination and enthusiasm of the staff, with appropriate and innovative working methods, overcoming all difficulties, finding effective socialization directions, the schools have created a safe and useful environment for disabled children to study, to be trained to strive and grow up to be a reliable support for families.

Mr. Nguyen Kim Hoang emphasized: With the achievements and consensus in meaningful and responsible work, the City Association for Relief of Disabled Children believes that schools, centers for teaching disabled children, along with cadres, teachers, and employees - those who have a heart and are responsible in their work will continue to join hands to act "For disabled children", contributing to building a strong and prosperous country.

At the program, the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children awarded the title and commended 29 individuals of "Good people, good deeds" from schools and centers for nurturing and educating disabled children in the city who have made outstanding achievements in caring for and educating disabled children in 2025.
