Honoring the value of female labor is a way of showing appreciation for their silent efforts, contributions, and sacrifices.

Creating motivation for female workers to continue competing and innovating.

In Dong Nai province , women workers account for over 60% of the workforce, making a significant contribution to the province's socio-economic development. Over the past period, thanks to the Party's policies and guidelines, the attention of Party committees at all levels, and the support and facilitation from local authorities, women workers have been delighted and proud to have many favorable conditions for learning, training, and growth. According to the Provincial Labor Union, in recent years, patriotic emulation movements have been widely launched with diverse and practical content, suitable to the characteristics of industries and local conditions. In particular, the "Excellent in National Work, Competent in Household Work" movement has created a strong ripple effect, encouraging female workers to continuously learn, improve their professional skills, and apply innovative improvements in their work. Many areas and aspects of work have seen positive changes and achieved significant results.

According to Bui Thi Bich Thuy, Standing Vice President of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor: In the context of Dong Nai province's strong industrial and urban development, female workers play a very important role in both production, business, and building happy and progressive families. Therefore, the "Excellent in National Work, Competent in Family Responsibilities" emulation movement, launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, has been implemented by trade unions and businesses in the province with many creative approaches, yielding encouraging results. Through this movement, many women have honed their skills and confidence in demonstrating their roles both collectively and in society.

Trade unions at all levels in Dong Nai province have linked the "Excellent in National Service, Competent in Household Management" movement with the "Building the New Era Vietnamese Woman" emulation movement of the Central Vietnam Women's Union and the "Studying and Following the Ideology, Morality, and Style of Ho Chi Minh" campaign, attracting a large number of female workers in the province to participate and achieving positive results.

Through emulation movements, female workers and employees in Dong Nai have demonstrated their capabilities and qualities, upheld the spirit of patriotism, overcome difficulties and challenges in the market economy, united, and unleashed their potential and creativity in labor, production, work, and study, achieving many outstanding achievements in all fields of politics, economics, society, national defense, and security, contributing to the overall development of the country and the province.

Many female workers have proactively learned, innovated, and contributed to their businesses and units. Ms. Pham Thi Van, who works at J-Spiral Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. (Phuoc Tan Ward), is a prime example, having received commendations from trade unions at all levels for her outstanding achievements in the "Excellent in Work, Good in Family" emulation movement over the past years. This is a well-deserved reward for her efforts in her professional work as well as her trade union activities.

Ms. Van said that, in her accounting job, she always makes an effort to learn and improve her professional skills to better serve her work and contribute to the excellent completion of her tasks. "Between my professional work and union activities, I have a lot of work to do, so I try to arrange my time to balance both, creating motivation for union members to compete in production and successfully complete all assigned tasks," Ms. Van shared.

As the Chairwoman of the Women's Association of the Department of Party and Political Work, Army Officer School 2, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Soa boasts an impressive record: She has been a grassroots emulation soldier for many years; awarded the title of "Outstanding Female Officer of the Entire Army" in 2022-2023; received commendations from the Head of the General Political Department and the Minister of National Defense in 2022-2023, along with many other outstanding achievements.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Soa has always strived to improve her knowledge and pedagogical skills to meet the educational and training requirements of the school, faculty, and department in the new context. On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Soa was one of the exemplary women honored and commended by the Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army…

More policies are needed to address this issue.

It can be seen that emulation movements launched by units, enterprises, and trade unions are spreading widely across many fields and sectors. Specifically, in the administrative and public service sector, female cadres, civil servants, and public employees are actively creative and competitive in fulfilling their assigned tasks. This includes administrative reform, reducing cumbersome procedures for citizens; promoting initiatives and applying information technology; improving working methods and styles; providing excellent advice and services; and building culturally exemplary agencies and units…

Every year, female workers in Dong Nai achieve the title of "Excellent in National Service, Competent in Household Management," receiving commendations from the Party, the State, and trade unions at all levels; many collectives and individuals receive the title of outstanding labor collective, emulation fighter at various levels, and other prestigious titles and awards. Through this movement, the role, capabilities, and qualities of female workers and employees are increasingly affirmed in the cause of national renewal. These shining examples among female workers deserve to be respected and praised.

In 2024, based on the achievements in the patriotic emulation movement, 683 collectives and over 191,000 women were recognized with the title "Excellent in National Service, Competent in Household Management" at various levels. This shows that the "Excellent in National Service, Competent in Household Management" emulation movement has awakened self-awareness, patriotism, overcoming difficulties, diligence, creativity, and improved productivity, quality, and efficiency of the female workforce in Dong Nai.

Besides the business sector, female workers in the military are also exemplary figures who strengthen overall capabilities, contribute to building strong units, and effectively fulfill national defense tasks. During the period 2020-2025, the entire army had 175 outstanding individuals who were commended and rewarded by the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army. They are exemplary role models who always strive and excel in all their activities.

Major Tran Thi Thanh Van, a professional military officer and member of the Women's Association of the Naval Region 2 Technical Support Center, has received commendations from the Naval Command three times, along with many other outstanding achievements. In particular, Major Van has made a positive impact on the emulation movement among female officers and members; especially contributing significantly to maintaining the "Women Saving and Doing Business Well" model for many years, helping many women access loans to develop their family businesses, improve their income and living standards. The women, and military personnel in general, participating in the model feel secure and contribute positively to the center's outstanding achievements.

Besides excelling in their professional lives, female workers are also capable mothers and wives, managing household affairs, caring for family life, and raising children well. They are always concerned with building cultured and exemplary families; they are diligent and hardworking in livestock farming, crop cultivation, and service development to improve their lives and legitimately enrich their families and society; they raise healthy children, teaching them to be well-behaved, obedient, and academically successful.

To further enhance the role of female workers in the new era, all levels and sectors need to strengthen policies on training and developing professional and leadership skills for women; create an equal and flexible working environment, helping women have opportunities for comprehensive development. In addition, trade unions and women's associations need to continue to play a supportive role in protecting the legitimate rights of female workers, especially those in enterprises, and build practical emulation movements to help female workers increasingly assert their capabilities in society.

"Every female soldier, regardless of her field, position, or circumstances, upholds a high sense of responsibility and loyalty to the Fatherland, the Party, and the people; constantly striving to learn, contribute her intellect and talent, hone her character, and affirm her increasingly important position and role in the cause of building the army, strengthening national defense, and protecting the Fatherland."
