Motivate female workers to continue competing and being creative
In Dong Nai , female workers account for over 60% of the labor force in society, and have become a force with significant contributions to the socio-economic development of the province. In recent times, along with the Party's policies and guidelines, the attention of Party committees at all levels, the support and facilitation of authorities at all levels, female workers are excited and proud to have many basic favorable conditions to study, practice and grow. Many typical examples have been promptly rewarded. That is a worthy reward for the values of dedication to the community and society that they have been quietly contributing to.

According to the Provincial Labor Federation, in recent years, patriotic emulation movements have been widely launched with rich and practical contents, suitable to the characteristics of the profession and conditions of the locality and facility. In particular, the Movement "Good at public work, good at housework" has created a strong spread, encouraging female workers to constantly learn, improve professional skills, and apply innovative initiatives in their work. Many fields and work contents have had positive changes, achieving important results.
Permanent Vice President of Dong Nai Provincial Labor Confederation Bui Thi Bich Thuy said: In the context of strong industrial and urban development in Dong Nai province, female laborers play a very important role in both production and business and in building happy and progressive families. Since then, the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has been implemented by trade unions and enterprises in the province with many creative ways and has brought about encouraging results. Through the movement, many women have trained their mettle and confidence to demonstrate their roles in the collective and in society.
Dong Nai province's trade unions at all levels have linked the Movement "Good at public work, good at housework" with the Emulation Movement to Build Vietnamese Women of the New Era of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", attracting a large number of female workers in the province to participate and achieving positive results.
Through the emulation movement, female workers, civil servants and laborers of Dong Nai have demonstrated their capacity and qualities, promoted patriotism, overcome difficulties and challenges in the market mechanism, united, promoted potential and creativity in production, work and study, achieved many outstanding achievements in all fields of politics, economics, society, national defense and security, contributing to the overall development of the country and the province.
Many female workers have proactively learned, innovated, and contributed to the enterprise and the unit. Ms. Pham Thi Van, working at J-Spiral Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. (Phuoc Tan Ward), is a typical example that has been awarded a certificate of merit by the Trade Union at all levels for her outstanding achievements in the emulation movement of "Good at public work, good at housework" in recent years. This is a worthy reward for her efforts in her professional work as well as in trade union activities.
Ms. Van said that, taking on the accounting job, she always has the awareness to self-study and improve her professional qualifications to better serve her work, contributing to the excellent completion of her tasks. "Doing professional work and participating in the union at the same time, there is a lot of work, so I try to arrange my time to harmonize both sides, creating motivation for union members to compete in production, and complete all assigned tasks well" - Ms. Van shared.
As President of the Women's Association of the Faculty of Party and Political Work, Army Officer School 2, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Soa possesses an impressive record of achievements: Being a grassroots Emulation Fighter for many years; the title of "Outstanding female cadre of the entire army" for the years 2022-2023; being awarded a certificate of merit by the Director of the General Department of Politics, Minister of National Defense for the years 2022-2023 along with many outstanding achievements.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Soa always strives to study and improve her knowledge and pedagogical capacity to meet the requirements of the new educational and training tasks of the school, faculty and department. On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Soa is one of the typical female role models to be commended and rewarded by the Chief of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army...
Need more policy attention
It can be seen that the emulation movements launched by units, enterprises, and trade unions have spread widely in many fields and professions. Specifically, for the administrative and public service agencies, female cadres, civil servants, and public employees are actively creative and compete to complete their assigned tasks well. These include administrative reform, reducing cumbersome procedures for people; promoting initiatives, applying information technology; improving working methods and styles; good advice, good service; building agencies and units that meet cultural standards...

Every year, female workers in Dong Nai achieve the emulation title of "Good at public work, good at housework", and are commended by the Party, the State and trade unions at all levels; many collectives and individuals achieve the title of excellent labor collective, emulation fighters at all levels and other noble titles and awards. Through the movement, the role, capacity and qualities of female workers and civil servants are increasingly affirmed in the cause of national innovation. The shining examples of female workers deserve to be respected and commended.
In 2024, from the achievements in the patriotic emulation movement, 683 collectives and over 191,000 women were recognized with the title "Good at public work, good at housework" at all levels. This shows that the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" has aroused the self-awareness, patriotism, overcoming difficulties, diligence, creativity, improving productivity, quality and efficiency of the work of Dong Nai's female labor force.
In addition to the business sector, female workers in the army are also typical examples of strengthening the overall strength, contributing to building strong units and performing well the national defense tasks. In the period of 2020-2025, the entire army has 175 typical and excellent individuals who were commended and rewarded by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army. They are advanced examples who always strive and strive in all activities.
Professional military Major Tran Thi Thanh Van, Women's Union of the Technical Assurance Center of the Navy Region 2, has been awarded certificates of merit by the Navy Command three times with many outstanding achievements. In particular, Ms. Van left a positive mark in the emulation movement of female cadres and members; especially contributing greatly to maintaining the Women's Savings and Good Economic Performance model for many years, helping many women borrow capital to develop their family economy, improve their income and living standards. Women in particular and military personnel of the unit, when participating in the model, feel secure and contribute positively to the excellent achievements of the center.
Not only good at public affairs, female workers are also mothers and wives who are good at housework, taking care of family life and raising children well. They always care about building a cultured family, a model family; are diligent in raising livestock, growing crops, developing services to improve life, legitimately enriching the family and society; raising healthy children, teaching them to be good, well-behaved and good at studying.
To further promote the role of female workers in the new period, all levels and sectors need to strengthen training policies, foster professional skills and leadership skills for women; create an equal and flexible working environment, helping women have opportunities for comprehensive development. In addition, trade unions and women's associations need to continue to promote their role as companions, protect the legitimate rights of female workers, especially female workers in enterprises, and build practical emulation movements so that female workers can increasingly assert their mettle in society.
