Many national-level trade networking programs
Over the past period, the Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai province has implemented many programs and activities to support local businesses, production facilities, and OCOP (One Commune One Product) entities in connecting with trade and expanding markets.
A highlight was the Southeast Region Trade and Industry Exhibition - Dong Nai, which took place in mid-August 2025. The exhibition was organized under the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of Dong Nai province. It attracted over 50,000 visitors and more than 140 businesses from many provinces and cities nationwide participating to promote and introduce their products at their booths.

Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) Le Hoang Tai emphasized: The Southeast Region Trade Fair - Dong Nai 2025, in particular, and trade promotion activities in the new context, not only create opportunities for business connections but also contribute to helping localities promote linkages, innovation, and sustainable development in the new period. The fair is an activity under the national program on trade promotion, aiming to promote trade, seek cooperation and business opportunities, and strengthen regional linkages in the Southeast region in particular and the whole country in general.
Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai province, Vu Ngoc Long, emphasized: This fair facilitates trade promotion and connection between businesses and businesses, and between businesses and consumers, creating a bridge for supply and demand to meet directly in order to improve the efficiency of trade transactions; supporting businesses in understanding consumer and customer preferences to serve the improvement and enhancement of product quality and the development of new products… From there, it supports businesses in Dong Nai and other provinces and cities nationwide to improve their competitiveness in domestic and international markets, and proactively participate in the process of international integration.
Ms. Vo Thi Hien, owner of Co Hai Clean Pepper Production Facility (in Dak O commune, Dong Nai province), shared: Currently, the main product lines of the facility are traditional black pepper and dried fruit products. Among them, the black pepper and crispy dried Thai jackfruit products have achieved OCOP 4-star standard. The facility hopes to participate in many trade promotion programs inside and outside the province to expand the consumer market and elevate the quality of its OCOP products.
Most recently, at the end of November 2025, Dong Nai province organized the Southeast Region - Dong Nai 2025 Exhibition of Typical Rural Industrial Products. This exhibition is part of this year's National Industrial Promotion Program.
The fair features 250 booths promoting and showcasing typical rural industrial products from Dong Nai and many other provinces and cities nationwide, such as Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang, Ca Mau, Gia Lai, Quang Tri, and Tay Ninh. According to the organizers, the highlight of the fair is the "Typical Rural Industrial Products" exhibition area, featuring many products that have received provincial, regional, and national certifications. Over nearly a week, the Southeast Region - Dong Nai 2025 Typical Rural Industrial Products Exhibition has attracted approximately 10,000 visitors.
According to Pham Van Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai province: The Southeast Region - Dong Nai 2025 Exhibition of Typical Rural Industrial Products opens up many new opportunities and brings good results for industrial promotion and investment promotion activities, contributing to the economic development of Dong Nai province in particular and the whole country in general. Through this exhibition, Dong Nai province hopes to work with other provinces and cities in the region to strengthen regional connections, promote value chain linkages, and expand markets for rural industrial products and local strengths.
Furthermore, at the Autumn Fair 2025 held in Hanoi from October 26th to November 4th, Dong Nai showcased many of the province's key and typical products, ranging from 4-star and 5-star OCOP products to products from major brands with factories located in Dong Nai, the "industrial hub". Prior to this, in September 2025, Dong Nai represented 34 provinces and cities of Vietnam at the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO 2025) held in Nanning City (Guangxi, China). This presented a great opportunity for businesses in the province to introduce and sell their key products, seek partners, and expand their markets.
According to Le Trung Hieu, Deputy Director of Nga Bien Import-Export Co., Ltd. (located in Xuan Hoa commune, Dong Nai province): In the coming time, the company will continue to strive to constantly improve product quality, maintain and upgrade OCOP products; focus on building the image and brand story for the company's products through trade promotion activities, connecting trade within and outside the province, and promoting e-commerce development.
Expanding the market for Dong Nai's key products.
Organizing and participating in major trade fairs and exhibitions, especially national-level programs on industrial promotion and trade facilitation, will open up many opportunities for Dong Nai province's key products to develop their potential and strengths, as well as to expand their domestic and export markets.
The Department of Industry and Trade has been implementing various solutions to support businesses, promote trade activities, and expand markets. To further develop the potential and strengths of local businesses in Dong Nai in particular and the Southeast region in general, the locality aims to promote the development of industry and trade in a modern direction, increase trade promotion activities, and better serve the needs of domestic and international markets; while simultaneously enhancing competitiveness and promoting diversification of export markets…
The Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai province is also promoting support programs, training, and guidance for OCOP entities, small and medium-sized enterprises, cooperatives, etc., in the province to access, promote, and market their products on e-commerce platforms; and accelerating digital transformation in trade promotion activities in the digital age.
Nguyen Van Linh, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, shared: In the coming time, the center will continue to strengthen coordination with the Department of Industry and Trade and relevant units and localities to enhance support for local businesses and OCOP entities in product promotion, brand development, and bringing products into distribution and retail chains inside and outside the province.
Ms. Le Thi Hai, representative of Hai Viet Coffee Co., Ltd. (located in Trang Dai Ward, Dong Nai Province), said: The company is developing lines of pure roasted and ground coffee products that meet OCOP standards. Currently, the company's products are supplied to wholesale and retail distribution systems, rest stops, and aim to be introduced into supermarket chains. The company hopes to connect with restaurant chains and tourist areas in the province with products featuring compact and convenient packaging to expand the market and develop the brand.
Similarly, Truong Van Thanh, Director of the Nhu Hoang Agricultural Trade and Service Cooperative (in Tho Son commune, Dong Nai province), said: Currently, the cooperative's roasted salted cashew nuts have achieved OCOP 4-star standard. The product has been connected to many domestic and export markets. The cooperative hopes to participate in more trade connection activities within and outside the province, especially national-level trade promotion programs to connect with more large distributors, thereby developing the brand and enhancing the competitiveness of the local OCOP product.
