(Baohatinh.vn) - Having excelled and secured the top position in Biology at the Provincial High School Student Excellence Competition for 12th graders, Hoang Thi Cam Tu (Cam Xuyen High School, Ha Tinh) has extended the school's string of achievements and created a solid foundation to reach her dreams.

Hoang Thi Cam Tu (Truong Yen village, Thien Cam commune), a student in class 12A1 at Cam Xuyen High School, has just excellently won the top position in Biology in the Provincial Excellent Student Examination for 12th graders, academic year 2025-2026, with an impressive score of 18.5. This outstanding achievement is not only a source of pride for her and her family but also a great motivation for the school with a rich tradition of academic excellence.

Hoang Thi Cam Tu has just achieved the top score in Biology in the provincial-level excellent student competition for 12th graders.

Cam Tu was born and raised in a family of four sisters in Thien Cam commune. Her parents are self-employed, and although their economic situation is not very comfortable, their hard work and boundless love have instilled in her a strong will and independent spirit from an early age. Understanding the hardships of her parents, Cam Tu has always been self-motivated and diligent in her studies, seeing education as the best way to repay their kindness and change her future.

Sharing her joy about the results, Cam Tu couldn't hide her emotions: "I was truly overwhelmed with happiness when I learned that I was the top scorer. Throughout the preparation period, I dedicated so much effort to Biology. I want to express my deepest gratitude to my teachers, especially my Biology professor, who inspired me and guided me from the most basic knowledge to advanced topics. This achievement is the greatest spiritual gift I want to give to my parents and siblings."

In class, Cam Tu always tries to solve many advanced types of exercises and seriously learns from her mistakes.

Speaking about her secret to excelling in Biology, Cam Tu believes that conquering this subject requires not only diligence but also a scientific approach and genuine passion. “Although Biology is a natural science, it demands a high level of memorization and logical thinking. I usually don't just memorize mechanically, but focus on understanding the essence of each process and mechanism. I often draw mind maps, connecting theory with practical applications, especially those related to medicine and genetics. Solving many advanced problems and seriously learning from mistakes is how I solidify my knowledge and feel more confident when entering the exam room,” the student shared.

Cam Tu also revealed some of her effective study habits. “Besides studying in class and self-studying at home, I always try to balance studying and resting. I don't stay up too late and maintain a regular study schedule, always keeping myself in the most relaxed state of mind. The important thing is to know how to 'self-heal' from pressure and not let fear take over my mind. I often read more scientific materials and watch videos of experiments related to Biology to spark more interest. For me, perseverance and self-belief are the keys,” Cam Tu shared.

Cam Tu is studying hard to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor.

Witnessing her daughter's achievements, Phan Thi Trang, Cam Tu's mother, was overwhelmed with happiness: "My husband and I are self-employed, so we couldn't provide close supervision and care for our daughter. We could only be her strong support and always trusted her. Seeing her diligently studying, I often cried with love for her at night. We are incredibly proud and happy. We only hope she maintains her health and spirit to continue pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor."

Not only did Cam Tu shine as the top student in 12th grade, but she is also an all-around excellent student. Prior to that, she demonstrated her outstanding abilities in Biology by consistently achieving impressive results: Second Prize (10th grade) and Third Prize (11th grade) in the Provincial Excellent Student Competition. Furthermore, Cam Tu has consistently achieved the title of outstanding student for many years. She is also known as a well-behaved, polite student who actively participates in group activities and is always willing to help her friends with their studies, thus she is always loved and trusted by her teachers and classmates.

Their hard work and dedication helped Cam Tu and her classmates achieve good results in the 12th grade provincial excellent student competition.

Her biggest goal is to pass the entrance exam to the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy - one of the most prestigious medical schools in the country.

Cam Tu hopes to become a highly skilled and ethical doctor in the future, contributing a small part of her efforts to the cause of public health care and fulfilling the ideal she has cherished for so long.

In the 2025-2026 provincial-level excellent student competition for 12th graders, Cam Xuyen High School achieved remarkable success with 19 students winning awards, including: 2 first prizes (with Cam Tu achieving the top score), 2 second prizes, 6 third prizes, and 9 consolation prizes.
