Ms. Le Thi Mai, a shoe vendor, said: "Not everyone remembers the rule, but when we gently explain that the market is a no-smoking area to ensure everyone's health, customers respect and comply."

Shoppers also appreciated these changes. Mr. Nguyen Van Thinh (Thanh Sen ward) said: “I find the market cleaner, more spacious, and there is no longer smoking in the walkways like before. I hope that everyone will seriously abide by the regulations when coming to the market to maintain a clean environment. This is a place with a lot of people passing through; if everyone is a little more conscious, the shopping atmosphere will be more pleasant and safer for health.”
