The final round of the “STEAM For Girl - Green STEAM for Female Students 2025” competition took place from December 8th to 12th in Ho Chi Minh City, with the participation of 39 outstanding female students from junior high schools in 12 provinces and cities of Vietnam, as well as representatives from Thailand and Malaysia. Among them, Khanh Hoa province had 3 female students.

The “STEAM For Girl - Green STEAM for Girls 2025” competition is organized by the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences ( Ministry of Education and Training ), UNICEF Vietnam, and the Victoria School Education System. This competition is exclusively for female middle school students, aiming to promote gender equality and encourage girls aged 12-15 to participate in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM), inspiring them to confidently explore and develop their abilities. Through the competition, female students not only demonstrate their creativity and collaborative skills in implementing projects related to climate change adaptation, renewable energy, and green living skills, but also have the opportunity to hone their critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, presentation, and community networking skills.
