The program provided free medical examinations, health consultations, and medication to approximately 300 people who are beneficiaries of social policies, including: veterans, disabled soldiers, relatives of martyrs, families with meritorious service to the revolution, poor households, the elderly, lonely elderly people, and people with disabilities in difficult circumstances.
Medical teams from Military Hospital 7A, Military Region 7, and Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, along with support from officers and soldiers of the Commune Military Command, Commune Health Station, Youth Union, and Women's Association, conducted general health checkups for residents, provided nutritional advice, and guided them on preventive measures against common illnesses during the cold season.
The delegation presented gifts to the families who came for medical examinations.
After the medical examination, each patient received free medication and instructions on safe and effective use. In addition, the medical team also presented meaningful gifts to families receiving government assistance, impoverished households, and those in particularly difficult circumstances. The total cost of this medical examination was nearly 200 million VND.
