Tan My commune distributes clean water storage tanks to residents.

On December 13th, the People's Committee of Tan My commune organized the handover of clean water storage tanks to local residents as part of the National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 2025.

The people of Tan My commune are delighted to receive clean water storage tanks.

At the handover ceremony, 71 households received support in the form of clean water storage tanks with a total cost of over 220 million VND, of which the people contributed over 11 million VND as matching funds. The water tanks were handed directly to the households, prioritizing those who are still facing difficulties and lack the means to store water for daily use, especially during the dry season.

The timely provision of water tanks not only helps people be more proactive in their daily lives and ensures access to clean water, but also contributes positively to disease prevention and control, improves public health, and enhances the quality of life. Through this matching fund model, the program also promotes a sense of responsibility, consensus, and solidarity among the people and local authorities in jointly building a new rural area and achieving sustainable development in Tan My commune.
