
On December 13th, the People's Committee of Tan Gianh commune, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province, organized a ceremony to announce the Decision and receive the Certificate of National Monument ranking for the Song Trung Temple and the tombs of Hoang Vinh To and Hoang Vinh Du.
At the ceremony, representatives from the Department of Cultural Heritage (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) presented the Certificate of Ranking for the historical relics of Song Trung Temple and the tombs of Hoang Vinh To and Hoang Vinh Du, issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to the Party Committee, government, and people of Tan Gianh commune and the Hoang family of Phu Kinh village.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Cultural Heritage, said that Song Trung Temple and the tombs of Hoang Vinh To and Hoang Vinh Du are relics with profound historical, cultural, and spiritual value; closely associated with the patriotic tradition, the contributions to expanding the territory, and the homeland-building efforts of the Hoang family and the people of Tan Gianh region over many generations. Hoang Vinh To and Hoang Vinh Du were ancestors who made many contributions to the country and are respected and revered by the people.
According to Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's decision to classify Song Trung Temple and the tombs of Hoang Vinh To and Hoang Vinh Du as National Monuments is a well-deserved recognition of the monument's value; it also affirms the persistent efforts of the entire political system and people of Tan Gianh commune in preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage.

Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh requested that the Party Committee, the government, and the mass organizations of Tan Gianh commune, along with the descendants of the Hoang family and the people, continue to implement the work of preserving, restoring, and enhancing the relics in accordance with the regulations of the Law on Cultural Heritage, ensuring the originality and historical-cultural value of the relics.
Furthermore, linking conservation efforts with the exploitation and development of cultural and spiritual tourism contributes to promoting the image of the homeland and opening up a sustainable socio-economic development direction for local people. It also leverages the role of historical sites in educating the younger generation about traditions, especially patriotism and the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source," fostering pride in their homeland, history, and national culture.
Mr. Tran Minh Huong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Tan Gianh commune, affirmed that the ceremony to receive the National Historical Monument ranking certificate for Song Trung Temple and the tombs of Hoang Vinh To and Hoang Vinh Du is not only an important cultural event, but also an opportunity for the locality to affirm its pride in its homeland's traditions and awaken the sense of responsibility of each citizen in building Tan Gianh commune into an increasingly prosperous, beautiful, and civilized place.
